Every choice I make is wrong. If I leave, I’m abandoning you. If I stay, I’m suffocating. If I speak, I’m making it about me. If I’m silent, I’m cold.
You want me to act, but you’re terrified of what I’ll do. So I just stand here, frozen, waiting for a signal that makes sense. Waiting for the contradiction to resolve itself, knowing it never will.
That’s the paralysis. Permission and prohibition at the same time. The only way out is to break the rules, your heart, and my own.
